Activities by work packages (WP)
Project activities are made up of four work packages:
- effective project management,
- itinerary of the cultural heritage in urban and rural areas of Istria,
- itinerary of architectural and archaeological heritage in Istria, and
- publishing, promotion, dissemination and verification of final results.
WP1 Project management
First work package, project management, is defined to successfully carry out and complete the project. The project Committee will meet on a regular basis in order to provide clear guidance on the creation, use and management of project activities, and also to inform the public regarding project progression and its results.
WP2 Itinerary of cultural heritage in urban and rural areas of Istria
The final result of systematic, methodical and tourist evaluation of the cultural heritage in Istria will be professional and expert articles, as well as promotional tourist brochure, with the intention of creating a new tourist itinerary in urban and rural areas of Istria. This work package is made up of three cultural itineraries:

Work package Itineraries of the architectural and archaeological heritage of Istria concerns about architectural and archaeological heritage of Istria through two activities:
WP 4 Dissemination, promotion and evaluation of the results
The key objective for the fourth work package in terms of dissemination and promotion of the research result is publishing of multilingual expertise or tourist publications, such as scientific reviews, a monograph and four booklets relating to cultural itineraries, as well as interactive Web pages for the duration of the project. The intention is to organize four workshops, to conduct research concerning safeguard and promotion of the cultural heritage and research relating to possible cultural tourism development.
