Presentation of the monograph Petrapilosa in Buzet

In the frame of the project Srce Istre (HEART OF ISTRIA) and in collaboration with the Commune of Buzet, a presentation of the book PETRAPILOSA, written by Darko Darovec, was organised.

The monograph, which includes the original Slovene text and the Italian and Croatian translation, presents the research on the castle, the family, the feud and the marquisate of Petrapilosa in Istria (located a few kilometres west of Buzet), which was once the biggest Istrian feud including 12 villages in the area from Sočerga to Pregara and Grimalda.

The book also includes contributions of the archeological research in the castle of Petrapilosa. The authors of the contributions are the collaborators for the Archeological Museum in Pula: Tatjana Bradara, Ondina Krnjak and Darko Komšo.
